Can I change or cancel my plan? +
Yes, at any time. There are no lock-in contracts. You can upgrade, downgrade, pause, or cancel your plan from your account dashboard with no fees or penalties.
What happens if something concerning is said during a call? +
If Nearness detects distress, sadness, or concerning language, it responds with warmth and care — and immediately sends an alert (SMS and email) to your nominated family contacts. For emergencies, it will always encourage them to call 000.
Can I set calls in a language other than English? +
Yes. Nearness supports multiple languages on the Light, Regular and Premium plans. You can choose the preferred language and cultural context when setting up the profile.
Is my family member's information kept private? +
